Spring Break 2010

9 04 2010

We are about to call it a wrap on Spring Break 2010. Over the past two weeks we have had the opportunity to be a part of so many special memories.  We have enjoyed seeing all the extra smiles, American Girl dolls and the little feet scampering around the Hotel.

This afternoon I wanted to take some time to learn about what some of our guest’s favorite spring break memories at our Hotel were.

Mike, a 7 year old guest,  shared that his favorite memory was lounging on a raft in our pool while enjoying the great views.  He also gave our bacon and eggs a thumbs up.

The Bucklin family was in agreeance that their favorite memory was staying up late and playing board games together in their suite.  They also shared that the front desk team was very helpful in providing transportation tidbits and kid-friendly restaurant recommendations.

Andrea, 8 and Julie 12, shared that shopping together was their favorite memory.  Andrea’s favorite purchase was a  “Just Like Me” American Girl doll and Julie’s was an outfit that she picked out at the Gap.  Their mother shared that our location was just ideal for their shopping adventures.

Tina and Jim shared that their family had the most fun at the Shedd Aquarium and at Navy Pier.

Thank you for sharing your Spring Break with us; we look forward to welcoming you back next year.

To quench my craving I may have to check out the Chicago Flower and Garden Show being held at Navy Pier’s Festival Hall, 800 East Grand Avenue, from 10:00 am – 8:00 pm March 6- 14. If you are staying our Hotel it’s an easy walk down Grand Avenue. It’s affordable too $17.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids.  If you do end up going please share your experience.  For more information visit chicagoflower.com.
